WELCOME TO FRANCE FORMULA

Relocate to France with Confidence:

Your Guide to Move Abroad without a Sponsored Visa

For self-employed dreamers, retirees, artists and spouses of French citizens ready to turn your French dream into a reality—without all the stress and confusion.

Moving to France should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
With France Formula, you’ll have a clear, step-by-step plan to navigate the bureaucracy, avoid common pitfalls, and step into your new life with ease.

You’ve dreamed of what your life would be like in France—
walking charming streets, eating incredible food,
and a vibrant culture that inspires you.

But moving isn’t just about dreaming. It’s about cutting through red tape, gathering the right documents, and planning ahead.

You can see it so clearly: mornings at the market picking up fresh baguettes, afternoons exploring the historic architecture, and evenings savoring a glass of wine as the sun sets over your new French home.

But when it comes to actually making the move, reality sets in:

  • What documents do you need (and where do you get them)?
  • How do you navigate the French administration when no one seems to be helpful?
  • And how do you even begin to plan a new life in a new country?

The vision of your dream life starts to blur under the weight of uncertainty and hoops to jump through. You don’t want to spend hours Googling only to feel more confused, overwhelmed, and stuck.

That’s where the France Formula comes in.

You know why you want to move to France— it’s the how that’s holding you up.

Without the right plan, it’s easy to get stuck:

I’ve tried for many years to move to Brazil, my dream country and I failed the first time. So I know how you are feeling!

  • Spending hours navigating advice online feeling like everything’s already written in another language—but you’re actually just reading English that doesn’t make sense.
  • Frustrated as paperwork is rejected or delayed, changing your whole timeline, because everything relies on the forms you need to provide.
  • Feeling overwhelmed, like your dream died a little bit the moment you started the actual process, and questioning if the move is even possible.

You’d know exactly how to make your plans happen if you were operating in your comfort zone—in your home country & your native language.

But when it comes to moving overseas, it’s like playing a new game without understanding the rules and no way to read the instruction manual.

The French administration isn’t exactly inclined to accept your visa application—

in fact, over half a million applications are denied each year.

Encountering excellent customer service and helpful agents who go above and beyond to help you work things out simply doesn’t happen when dealing with the French bureaucracy.

If you’re missing a form, or something in your application isn’t right …

… it’ll be denied. Plain and simple.

With the amount of time & money you’re investing in the process, you want to make sure you get things right—and you’re able to start your new life in France ASAP.

But, it’s just not that easy. And, what’s even more expensive is hiring someone to do it for you. That’s why I created France Formula:

  • To give you clear instructions as you navigate applying for a French Visa including the Profession Libérale, Talent-Passport Business Creator, Talent-Passport Artistic Profession, French Spouse, and Visitor visas.?
  • To provide you with a step-by-step guide outlining every phase of the process as you prepare for your big move—including choosing where to live, and preparing to adjust to the culture without experiencing the stereotypical “American in Paris” culture shock.
  • … and to help you keep your dream alive in the process—because moving to France is a good thing, and you deserve to be excited about taking this leap!

So—how much will it cost to make this dream a reality?

Right now, you have two options:

1. Hire a Relocation Consultant – 💰💰💰💰

You could spend thousands of dollars on a relocation service to handle the process for you. While convenient, it’s costly, and you’re still left with the uncertainty of whether they truly understand your unique situation.

2. Do It Yourself – 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Sure, you can scour the internet, piecing together free advice and outdated checklists. But how much time will you waste searching for the right answers—and how much will a mistake cost you in terms of delayed timelines, rejected applications, or extra stress?

One would cost a lot of money, and the other risks your sanity …

Or, you can choose 🇫🇷 France Formula 🇫🇷

For a fraction of the cost of hiring a consultant and with far less frustration than going it alone, France Formula gives you everything you need:

→ Step-by-step guidance for a smooth relocation.
→ Expert-reviewed resources to avoid costly mistakes.
→ Lifetime access to templates, checklists, and insider knowledge.

Move to France Coach

Is France Formula Right for You?

You’ll be a great fit if …

✅ You’re self-employed, an artist, a remote worker, a business owner, a married or PACsed spouse of a French citizen, a retiree, or a long-term visitor.

✅ You want to avoid spending hundreds of euros on lawyer consultations or relocation agency services.

✅ You don’t have time to waste searching the internet for reliable advice on French visas and bureaucracy.

✅ You’re serious about building a new life in France.

France Formula isn’t for you if …

👉 You’d prefer to hire a lawyer or relocation agency (but keep in mind you’ll still need to handle the visa submission yourself and pay for renewals).

👉 You’re fine spending hours trying to figure out French bureaucracy on your own.

👉 You’re willing to risk mistakes that could jeopardize your visa renewal or cost you money.

👉 You’re coming to France with a salaried work contract (unless you’re married or PACsed to a French citizen—note: no other civil unions or de facto relationships apply).

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I plan to move next year?

No problem. Anticipation is key when planning an international move. Six months in advance is ideal, but you can start sooner. Four to five months can also work, though it may involve added stress.
With lifetime access to the course and ongoing access to the Q&A sessions, you’ll have plenty of time to plan your move.

I’m a non-EU national in a civil union with my French partner. Can I request a French spouse visa?

The French spouse visa (Visa Vie Privée et Familiale - conjoint de français) applies only to married spouses or PACSed partners (French civil union) of a French national.
Non-French civil unions or long-term de facto relationships are not sufficient grounds for this visa under French law.
If this applies to you, I recommend either getting married or exploring other visa options based on your reason for moving to France.

I want to run my current business in France. Does this course apply to me?

Yes. All entrepreneur visas allow you to run a non-French business in or from France.
This course provides the relevant visa application process. However, it doesn’t replace the need for a chartered accountant to help set up your business in compliance with French regulations.

Is there a guarantee my visa will be approved with this course?

No one can give this guarantee, and I’d caution against trusting anyone who claims otherwise. Only the consulate has the authority to approve or reject an application, and sometimes decisions are beyond anyone’s control.
That said, the visa request section has been fully reviewed by Mr. Lantheaume and Ms. Pochard, immigration lawyers at Lyon's Bar. It incorporates the latest immigration updates to give you the tools and confidence to prepare the strongest application for your situation.

I’m a non-EU retiree. Does the course apply to me?

YES! If you receive a pension from a country other than France and plan to stay in France for more than three months, this course is for you.
However, if you’ve previously worked in France under a French work contract and contributed to the French system, you may need a different visa, which isn’t covered in this course yet.

What nationality is the France Formula course designed for?

This course is designed for all nationalities, with a focus on non-EU nationals (including British citizens). Keep in mind that some countries have bilateral agreements with France that may include specific visa requirements or quotas. These agreements—such as those for nationals of the Maghreb states and some sub-Saharan African states—are not covered in detail in this course.

What is the difference between the France Formula course and the Dream to Reality course?

The France Formula course is a comprehensive program covering the full international relocation process to France, including:

> Pre-departure (visa application, move preparation, and developing an expat mindset).
> Post-arrival logistics (immigration, housing, schooling, healthcare, banking, and integration).
> Long-term plans (visa renewal and meeting the requirements to apply for French citizenship).
Dream to Reality focuses exclusively on the entry visa application process, including the five sponsor-free visa types. This content is also included within the France Formula course.

Is business advice included in the course?

I'm not a business consultant or an accountant.
The course provides general information about the micro-entrepreneur status and other business structures, including applicable social contribution levels. However, as a business owner or self-employed professional, it’s essential to seek tailored advice from a qualified expert for setting up your French business structure.
